Problem:
Over time, many of Purdue’s websites had become inconsistent and difficult to use. The Purdue team lacked internal UX resources and were looking to improve how they approached website additions and new features.


Solution:
I introduced wireframing, information architecture and agile prototyping to the web team's process. Leveraging existing modules and design patterns, I helped simplify and focus experiences across several Purdue web experiences (The Persistent Pursuit, Purdue's Marketing and Communications website, the President's website, Purdue Moves and Purdue Indianapolis to name a few).


Results:
Feedback from campus marketers and alumni was positive, including a user study focused on The Persistent Pursuit.

Reimagining Purdue's Marcomm website

This website is a key resource for campus partners but was difficult to navigate. Users often complained they couldn't find things like logo assets and available templates. I led the team through rethinking navigation, page structure, UX writing and final design application.

I partnered with the Purdue team to redesign stories.purdue.edu. The goals were to brighten up the design, make the site easier to navigate and stories more discoverable. I introduced a filter bar, allowing users to explore stories by media type or topic.
